Thanks Liz for the challenge

I really don't know what was wrong with the system we had. Folded clothes went in the closet. My unironed or worn-once clothes went on the chair on the left. I'm not sure what Kerri's system was on the right, but I assume it was working for her, because like me, she has been so dedicated in keeping her clothes on the rocker.

When we painted and bought my chair for the bedroom last year, my dresser was dispatched to Creston's room and I got a nice plastic sock and underwear drawer.

Kerri's dresser and my meticulous record keeping system on the top. Every receipt I had brought home since last Christmas was still on it.

All the clothes Kerri has not worn in the last year. That is the wedding dress in the blue sack, so you see she does have a system. "Only unworn clothes on this rack."

I like the ties in this picture. I warm them on the lamp so that they get their shape back. Very efficient process.

No new shelves, just reorganized. There was a sock-n-underwear drawer treaty signed after extensive negotiation. Plastic storage box now stores collapsible traveling cases. We have no outside storage to speak of due to extreme humidity that deteriorates fabrics.

Only the most current and wearable have replaced the unworn on this side.

The least amount of shoes I've owned since high school. I would be considered a disgrace by my grandmother. I would not want to attempt to emulate my grandfather when it comes to shoes. All I can remember is his white loafers. Yikes!

Closet doors that close, what a concept. A sitting and reading area, very nice. Notice the coffee cup next to the chair. It has already been used. Very comfy thing. That is the dirty clothes hamper behind the other rocker. It is neater than it looks in this picture.

That smile after such an ordeal can only mean one thing. Kerri has been antagonized to the point that she wished she hadn't insisted on the whole project. Her life has been so miserable that she will not ask me to do another project of the likes until her memory, similar to having a kid, completely rosifies the experience to a point when "someone" puts such a silly notion on their blog, she'll get involved.

Notice no picture of her. Of all the pictures I took of her I could only find pictures that expressed her true and deepest love of me, and I felt that it would be to mushy for the blog. Plus she cleans house in a state of dress that would be inappropriate for a blog with a family audience.

Is cleaning the closet really worth it? Ask yourself that question next time you want to involve innocent bystanders or your husband.

Are you kidding...My bed gets made maybe once every two weeks..No kidding!! With getting kids ready for school and getting ready myself, the bed is the last thing on my mind. I'm sending out the box of clothes for Irish on Friday, we are also sending little somethings for the rest of the kids.

Its kinda fun sitting back and watching the fire works. I wouldn't have minded be there when this was all taking place, so much entertainment.
