It was a beautiful day. 50 degrees and sunny. Etta was happy to see us, and we had a really good visit.

Gone to Vici
Well we jumped in the car this morning and headed out to Vici. Stopped in north OKC at Jimmy's Egg for breakfast, and got to Etta's about 11 o'clock. We went out to a little cafe in Vici around 1 and headed back home around 2:30. West and then south through back roads we travelled. Over to Arnett and down into Roger Mills County. Through Strong City, Foss, Dill, Eakly. We passed Hoochie Momma's Lodge, Lake stream and the Road Rash Inn and went on into Binger and Washita County. We missed the prettiest part of the country to the sun going down, we will have to make that another day. After the sun dropped behind the broad horizan, we picked up the freeway at Minco and Tuttle and scurried on home by way of Purcell. We were ready to get into our pj's and send the kids to separate rooms.
It was a beautiful day. 50 degrees and sunny. Etta was happy to see us, and we had a really good visit.

sounds like awesome weather--too much family bonding aye---I hear ya
You'd have to cover that ground in about 2 feet of snow for me to really get the feel of it!!! Nice kids! Oh the car is great too. Does it do Research librarys?
hey, that is great. I'm feeling ready for a road trip, or camping. I'm just a little anxious to get out of dodge.
Roads trips are so much nicer when the children sleep or are old enough to demand them into silence. Screaming children are wonderful.
Kiera actually did really well.
sounds fun a road trip im hoping i get to leave this weekend for oregon, but it means i get to go by myself, and im not looking forward to the drive.
I just had to laugh when I googled vici prairie. I was looking for the prairie pickers (a brethren's family group from Vici Oklahoma) to see if there was anything about them online or not. Anyway, I clicked on the first entry and here was a photo of your (my) family!
Too funny for words! By the way, it sounds like a fun road trip! I'm not sure, but I think you'll find names like Hoochie Momma's Lodge and Road Rash Inn only somewhere in Oklahoma.
