Quiet Weekend

I call it a quiet weekend because Jord actually had time to get outside and work in the barns. Beautiful weather!!! It was 60-65 all weekend and sunny. Now my weekend on the other hand was not quiet. Let's see---Friday night I go grocery shopping before heading to Charlotte's from midnight- 8am. Saturday Kat has pitching practice and then its time to do the piles of laundry that accumulate through the week. (by the way, we still have Christmas up) Sunday is church and more practice. Back to Charlotte- Miracle is what we say!!! She is now walking short distances with her walker and sitting up for short periods of time. She still has dizzy spells and isn't very strong---but she been flat on her back for over 7 weeks so its not surprising that she is a little weak. It reaffirms the fact that Doctors don't know everything like they say they do.....they told us she would never walk again and if we moved her we would paralize her legs and damage her kidneys. Its been a strength to everyone who takes care of her---to see the progress each week and know where that progress comes from. Creston is winding up basketball. He has 4 more games left....we will have about 2 weeks of down time and then both Creston and Katarina will be buried in baseball and softball. Jord hopefully goes shopping for a vehicle this week.....We haven't had more than one vehicle for more than a couple months at a time. I know he will be thrilled to finally have his own set of wheels!!
