It's going to be HOT!
I told Jord that I needed to make a Wenatchee trip sometime this weekend. I would like to do it after work on Friday, but there is no way I could get everything done that needed done. So, I guess we will head out early Saturday (I really wanted to spend the day at the lake). Jord and I have been sitting out by our new grass every night.....enjoying it while we can before the skeeters come and haul us away. Creston/Kat had to be in the cherry orchard by 5 this morning.....very early morning for all of us and Kat is NOT a morning person, its probably a good thing the pickers can't speak English or they would be trying to chat with her and she wouldn't go for that! Hope all has a great weekend.....try to stay cool......I may sneak off to the lake after church Sunday.

Little Frustrated....
Was looking forward to church last night. Felt really good all day. Went home fried some pork chops, made homemade mac/cheese, salad......about 20 minutes after I ate I got sharp pains in my stomach....like double over pains. I thought maybe I ate something that was bad but Jord was totally fine. It lasted about 4 hours and then poof.....it was gone. Weirdest thing. Kat came home from church and we visited about meeting and about everyone who is injured/sick, then she told me Sis. Marcy prayed for me at church. That was the reason the pain went poof!! Creston is really fighting his allergies this year. He comes home every night after work with his eyes swollen/red and coughing/sneezing. He looks horrible and comes home and goes straight to bed. He has zero energy. I will be glad when the allergy season is over. Jord has been doing better, only has a day here and there when he has difficulty breathing. This is the first year that Kat has had problems with allergies.....so I know it must be a bad season. It is raining again today. Not good for the cherries and not good for Creston's plans of being done with harvest before the 4th.

Evening Alone....
Jord and I have an evening at home alone tonight. The kids got invited to Gid/Brandi's for dinner and games. They seemed really excited about it. Jord informed me that he was not eating left overs tonight....I don't get the night off just because the kids are gone. LOL Oh well....a woman can dream, right? It was good seeing Petra and her gang last weekend. The boys are too cute and looked right at home at Gma's house. Loved having Abe/Steena out for dinner and of course the Chantry time was precious. He is the sweetest little guy. Creston/Kat are still in harvest. Lots of rainy days and it sure messes up the cherries. Creston wants to be done by 4th campout.....but I don't know if it will happen. Conn is trying to find a door for the Honda-I don't think he is having much luck and may have to buy a new door. Little Ms. Sassypants has not been to visit city hall in over a week.....I guess Aunt Kerri will have to eat the all the snacks!

Baby Nora.....
Found these on facebook. This is Uncle Jack/Aunt Sharon's great- granddaughter....She is Maryanne's new little baby girl. Mom asked that I share them with everyone.
Friday....Whoo Hoo!!
Yesterday was mowing day for the city and normally Jord wears a mask because of his allergies-but it was raining so he thought he wouldn't have any problems. Well, his breathing was so bad last night that it shook our bed and I could not sleep through it. He is working today with about 1/2 of his lung capacity.....probably shouldn't be here, but we are still a man down with Mike being gone. Not fun stuff. Lance and Marty came over around 9 last night to tell me Lance had backed into the Honda drivers side door. Kat was helping Kim set up her yard sale and Lance didn't see the car. He was so upset.....felt bad for him. So....the Honda is going to Conn's today. That is about all the news on the Wilson front. I kind of enjoyed our two raining days- wasn't good for the cherries, but it sure felt good.

Cherry Pickin' Time
Kat got called to work yesterday to start cherry harvest with the Miller's. 5 am comes really early when your used to sleeping in. Creston went to Ma/Pa's last night to visit Abe/Steena, Kat was with Lance at the basketball game so it was just Jord and I for Taco's.....that is until the kids come home and want me to fry up more for them. Had a horrible night last night----couldn't shut down my brain so I crawled out of bed at 3 am and went to the recliner. Tim/Carol brought Aunt Venita home with them this week. I get to have lunch with her tomorrow and I am looking forward to that! Jord mowed the lawn last night!!!! It has some weedy things in it that will go away in time, but it sure looked good when I got home.

Woke up this morning feelin fine......I woke up with Heaven on my mind....
I love this song....always make me happy to sing it around the piano. We had a great weekend. Friday was supposed to be date night with Kim/Marty, but the kids ended up tagging along (they just wanted to eat out!) Lots of laughter and good times. Saturday Kat and I got up early and went to help Kim Evans with her yard sale....she had it at Kim Smith's. I really enjoyed visiting with Sis Kim Smith.....I haven't done that for a while. Jord picked me up just before lunch and took me for a drive up to Winthrop. We ate lunch and stopped at Sherri's Ice Cream, Hank's and Blue Star (for Jord) before heading home. It was a nice relaxing day...... we don't get to do it very often. Creston/Lance have already started working for the Miller's. They have them laying the reflective cloth under the trees. Kat won't start until harvest so she is just doing summer basketball. It's nice that the boys got to start earlier....it will make give them work a couple weeks longer than normal. Jord continues to plug along on the yard. We actually have grass to mow!!!! Big "Thanks" to the Easters for the great steaks and food....very yummy! So thankful for our life and that our kids are healthy......Hope all the Dads out there had a great Father's Day.....

Summer Basketball.....Really????
Not sure I am ready for traveling to ACH and Liberty Bell for girls summer basketball. The girls are really fun to watch and they will be a force this year but I sure wish the games were a little closer to home. We missed the Easter girls last night. We won both games.....girls played a little rusty and definitely out of shape, but overall they played two good games. Kat said she thought she was going to die she was so out of shape. Creston came back from Oregon antsy and getting the itch to leave home and start school. I would like him to be a little less excited about leaving so it didn't feel like he was relieved to leave home!!! Jord has been working every night in the yard and it is starting to look like we actually live there. Conn, Nancy, Dana, Chantae and Sierra came to visit last night and I wasn't home. I was so disappointed. Citywide yard sales are today and tomorrow and we had over 30 yard sales signed up. You Oregon girls are missing out!

Enjoying a few days of peace......
We were sad we didn't get to go to Oregon, but felt it was best not to chance the trip. I have had three glorious days of relaxation. Brandi, Nevelyn, Dana and I spent the day at the lake yesterday. It was a wonderful day. It could have been a little warmer, but it was a nice day. Got to spend some quality time with Dana, which was great and who passes up a day to spend with Nevelyn. She cracks me up! Jord spent his three days working on plans for Dad and piddling outside. My kids forgot Tegan's gift, so I will have to pop it in the mail. Happy Birthday Mom!!!! Hope you have safe travels home with the kiddos.

So glad tomorrow is Friday.....
I got up at 4:00 am to get Janice and the kids to the airport, then I drove straight to work. From Spokane to Grand Coulee, I was so tired that I had to stop 3 times and walk around because I was falling asleep at the wheel. Not cool! I am trying to get everything done by tomorrow so we can be gone to Eugene next week. Bad news.....the A/C decided to stop working in the Honda again and Conn put a rush order in for the part. Without A/C, Jord will not be able to breathe in Oregon. I hope it comes in and doesn't cost a fortune. I really enjoyed my company and it was hard to say goodbye to those two little sweeties.....Janice is really blessed with good kids. The crew had a birthday lunch for me today with cheesecake for dessert and it was yummy!

Monday, Monday.....
Thank you to everyone for a great weekend. I thought it turned out really well. Lots of family, friends and food. I do feel a sense of relief that the weekend is over and I can move onto the next phase. Creston ended up with a boat load of money....thank you, thank you.....Chantry was a doll. It felt so good to hold him....what a little grunter he is. Janice flies home Thursday morning at 6:30 am. So, we are going over Wednesday to stay with Jim/Terri so we don't have to get up at 2 in the morning. We have really enjoyed her and the kids, but you forget how much work two little peeps are. She never stops. Kat left this morning with the band for an overnight stay at Silverwood. Should be lots of fun for the kids. Creston slept in this morning. He changed his mind about spending this week in Oregon because all the kids were still in school. Both kids said they had a blast at Jessica/Jaydens last night. Special thank you to Manthy who worked her heart out at the BBQ so I could visit my family.....and thanks to my brother in laws who did all the grilling.....and everyone else who helped.....we appreciated it!
