Spring is coming....
Not much happening on the homefront. Jord has started cleaning the yard and has been burning preparing for the garden. He gets antsy this time of year....so much to do to prepare, but loves it. Creston has started his last year of baseball (sad). The year is going by entirely too fast for me, I want to push a big read "stop" button and slow things down a bit. Kat is full swing ahead in softball. Both kids love spring sports and being outside in the fresh air. I love them just because of the atmosphere....lawn chairs, blankets, sunglasses, ice chest full of goodies, sunshine.....I love me some baseball/softball. Creston was thrilled that Tag was the manager this year....he said "he has so much energy!" LOL. I actually have cooked at home every night this week. I do believe this is a first in about 3 months??? Feels really good. Here is the menu: Monday- Orange Chicken, rice, fresh green beans. Tuesday- Haystacks. Wednesday- Parmesan Baked Chicken, fried taters, salad. Thursday-Tacos and peach cobbler. Friday- Homemade stuffed pasta shells with Marinara, salad and bread. I've had Lance pop in for dinner a time or two. His Mama doesn't do fried tacos so he usually comes over when I cook them. There is so much money going out every month.....with graduation, pictures, food for graduation party, easter, sports, brakes for the car, trips to Oregon, new tires/tune up for the Chrysler before Creston takes it to Oregon and the list goes on and on and on. I have been contemplating going off sugar again....I need to do it....I feel so much better and more energy. I also need to start walking now that the weather is better. Well, I will sign off for now. I have probably bored you all to tears!!!!
