Life is just peaches....

Well, the girls couldn't pull off a win last night against Brewster.  Tough game, lots of running errors on our side.  Kat did great....she worked through the pain, but when we got her home she was in tears with pain.  Her knee/leg was very swollen, so I stayed home with her to ice and hot pack it.  Swelling was down this morning, but we had her stay home to ice/heat/repeat all day long.  They are supposed to play a double header against Brewster tomorrow and I'm not excited about her playing in it.  We have secured 2nd place for sure, we would have to win both games tomorrow to go in first and I don't think she could last pitching both games not unless she is 100%.  I'm the Mom that says....."let her rest and beat them at Districts!" We will see how she is tomorrow.  Wish I was going to Portland with Jord, but someone has to stay home to get kids where they need to be/feed critters at the Evans and the homefront.....so I volunteered to stay home.  We won't send the kids to a game without someone from the church/family present.
