Weekend
Good weekend....we actually had a few hours at home (you noticed I said a few), but at least we had a few. Saturday Jord stayed home to finish planting the garden while Kat and I went to the All Star Fastpitch game in Omak. It was a lot of fun. Then we hurried to Chelan to watch Creston's last Baberuth game against Republic. Great game.....we have some good years ahead of us with baseball....lots of good players the next few years. I managed to get home by 7:00 to sit and visit with Jord on the porch. Sunday was church, tacos (the youngkids had an outing to the Grays, and I really wanted my kids to come home so we could have dinner together as a family...I know...but we have so few dinners when everyone is home) and then we took Banana Splits to Mom for her birthday. It was nice....Gid & Brandi were there and Ruben & Manthy and of course Nevelyn, who manages to steal all the attention in the room. Has anyone said lately how CUTE she is. Busy week ahead for me....I have to find time to bake a wedding cake and put in the freezer.....Hmmmmm.....when will I have time???? I did notice in the mirror yesterday that I had a few more gray hairs!

are you doing the aj/emily wedding cake????
I'm baking it and Dana is decorating it because we won't be here on that Friday before the wedding.
Wow you got your work cut out for you...the banana splits were great...thanks for bringing them for mom.
just a few more grey hairs.....sounds like you are still busy busy....dont let the skeeters get you while your vegging.
yeah the cake sounds pretty dramatic haha glad your breaking ground on it. Thanks for bring desert...sorry my kid steals the show. your kids dipped the ice cream hey I liked that :)
Wow, good luck on the cake part. I know you have lots of experiance there so you will do great. :) Thank so much for the veggies and flowers - Jord!!!!! I planted last week and they are looking good except for a few that either were eaten or stripped of leaves by some unknown critter who is going to die. :) Sounds a little vicious but it ate my little vine (whatchamacalit), the whole thing is just gone. Drat :(
