Sunshine!!!

Well, I woke up yesterday with a headache and decided I needed to stay home for the day and get some sleep. I have been on the run for weeks now and I think my body was telling me to take the day off. So I did, and felt so much better when I woke up at 10:00. I just piddled around the house doing laundry, vacumming, etc....and it felt so nice. Kat's team has won all of their games so far in the end of the season tournament. We played Brewster last night and it was an exciting game. They were ahead 1-0 until the 6th inning and the girls decided they wanted to hit the ball. We ended up winning 5-1. It felt great!!! They play again tonight at 5:30 at Oak Street in Omak.....going to be another good game. I believe they play Brian Boesel's team.....I hope I don't have another run-in with him like last time. I basically told him it wasn't my first rodeo and he backed right down. A girl has to hold her own against egomaniac's like Brian! Creston's team won last night too against LibertyBell....Sugarman pitched the whole game....we won 6-4! I stopped to order the cake for 8th grade promotion party on Sunday, because I'm going to be home long enough to make it myself. I about choked....the cost is outrageous but I think we are going to have good weather for our potluck/party.
