Dinner

Creston has been begging for Lasagne. It's like the most fattening thing around. So, I thought to myself....."Kerri there has to be a way to make this a little healthier". This is what I did and it turned out yummy....Jord said it was some of the best I've made (his opinion could be slightly altered due to lack of fat intake)..anyway....I used half the meat as usual, 1/2 the amount of cheese and I only used white cheeses which are lower in fat. It was good!!! Of course, we still had to eat alot more salad and a smaller portion of lasagne....but it was a good dinner and Creston was a happy camper. We had the lady from the bank bring us "Hello Dolly's" from the bakery yesterday. This is my absolute favorite dessert from the bakery....chocolate, coconut, grahmn cracker crust....well I gave mine to the crew, I didn't eat it!!! Whoo Hoo!!! I think the lack of sugar is making me a little crazy, but I really want to eat better and it is such a difficult task when you LOVE to eat.

too funny, well yeah that is definitly a woohoo! those hello dollys are bomb diggity, i ate and ate and ate all sorts of good but bad food in oklahoma sis bonnie is a great cook. and mazzios has a yummy calzone.

thats a good idea all white cheese lasagna....i dig that stuff, we fight over the leftovers here

We are trying to eat healthier also Kerri. I keep reminding myself that the largest part of the food pyramid is taken up by veggies and fruit. :)
Good for you guys! I hope we can keep it up also :)
