Merry Christmas
A very special "Thank you" to Tamsin for all the goodies....I love everything!!! We really enjoyed seeing the girls open gifts. The little ones make Christmas so much fun. Hope everyone's Christmas Eve was as good as ours and that your food tastes as good as ours tomorrow. Merry Christmas.

Weather Changing
Well we had our first snow of the season. Very pretty but was gone by the afternoon. I guess its time to decide what kind of tires we are going to buy. We definately need something to get us through the winter. We have been hitting the jackpot lately.....Thursday night we went to Marty/Kim's for dinner.....Saturday we went to Phil/Betty's and today we were invited to Bro.Brian/Sis.Michelle's. WOW!!! It was nice and we had some good visits....lots of laughing too. I've been keeping a mental note for when we get our own place....I'm going to have alot of invites to make up for. Thanks to all the Oregon Siblings for the wonderful food at the beach....I wish you would've let us contribute, but we were very grateful. When is our next big event...HA....just kidding. Holidays!!!!! that is the big event.

Home from Oklahoma
We made it back yesterday. Very tired and crabby. We managed to average 4 hours of sleep each night. It was crazy. We were so busy with the wedding and trying to see as many friends as we could. Janice was beautiful and the wedding turned out very nice. Jord and I laughed at each other because we were shedding tears during the wedding and Richard/Chris didn't shed any. She was like our own.....I think we realized just how much at the wedding. Anyway, Michael/Janice seemed very happy and excited and we are happy too. We got some good visiting time in with Dana and with Elizabeth and the kids. I was feeling a little lost without my kids. We didn't get to talk to Creston until last night. He seems to be having fun and we are ready for him to be home. So now we are saving every penny for the next trip......this one hopefully will be a little less work and alot more pleasure. Oregon Coast....here we come!!

Everyone Flying!!!
O.K. So I'm having a hard time with my 14 year old being in Hawaii without his MAMA!! I'm sure he is not having a hard time with it at all. Jord and I leave tomorrow bright and early for Okieville. Very excited to see the wedding and to visit friends but have to leave Kat at home with Grandma/Grandpa. They get the job of babysitting all the Washington granddaughters. Mom might have to go back to drinking Pepsi in order to make it through the next 4 days. I had to teach Kat how to use the alarm clock so she would wake up for school. I have been the alarm clock....hopefully that goes well. We are counting down the days till the Oregon coast, it was so good to see the little Lybarger boys and give them lots of squeezes! The little ones are so addictive.....lets see I think I need time with Lionel and my two little sweet nieces.

Not A Whole Lot To Say
We have been filling our time going to watch the girls play basketball. It seems strange watching Katarina with Rhi and Irish. We never dreamed we would be living here and all the kids going to school together. The kids have adjusted great....which always makes you feel so much better about moving. Last Saturday, Jord and I and the kids piled into the car to buy winter coats. Jord and I have coats in storage, but the thought of pulling out all those boxes trying to find the one labled "Coats"......well, thats not for me! I did find some very good sales and was happy when we come home spending under $200.00 for 4 coats. Not bad.....I have been trying to tie up loose ends for Janice's wedding, the day is fast approaching. Its hard trying to decide on flowers/cake when we are living here and she is there. I'm sure it will all come together. All I'm waiting for is the trip to the Ocean.....now that brings a smile to my face....It's been almost 10 years since we have seen the Oregon coast.

Fall is here
I woke up this morning and stepped outside and promptly stepped back inside. I'm not used to the cool mornings yet. We have been house hunting as most of you know and hitting brick walls at every turn. I guess when my prophecy said "to be patient" he really meant it. Loved having Emma here, I don't usually get much time for visiting and it was nice having her to myself for a few days. The boys are such a hoot....I will let Uncle Jord tell the stories. The girls are full swing ahead in basketball and it is so fun! Rhi and Kat are on the same team and it still seems strange to see Kat wearing Purple/Gold. Everyone needs to watch out for Irish....she is the funnest to watch out of all the girls. I'm looking ahead and cringing about how much money we will have to spend on our next two trips. We leave for Janice's wedding on the 21st and then the Family Reunion....I know it will all be worth it, it's just hard letting go of the money. Creston seems to be getting the swing of being a Pateros Highschool freshman.....a little mouthy....but still getting his homework done....I need to call the school today and get the password to check the grades for the kids. He's been spending time with the youngkids.....they seem to do something almost every weekend. It's nice......but have to address the chaperone issue with the Mom's....should be fun...Ha. I guess I'm old fashioned, but I believe in chaperone's especially when there are couples within the youngkids. Got to go check the mail, Creston is waiting for his flip-flops to come in for the Hawaii trip.

Home Alone
Well, Jord is with Gideon hiking in the mountains and Jord is actually spending the night in the woods! Creston and Kat are spending the weekend camping with Marty/Kim at Lightening Pine campgrounds. So, after getting the guys off this morning (very early) I decided I would spend the day with the Evan's. I ended up playing 3 games of volleyball with the kids and then all of us when floating down the Methow. Oh My!!! I haven't done that since I was a teenager. Believe it or not we all went. Kim, Marty, Creston, Lance, Kat and Markee Miller. It was such a blast, but I am extremely sore tonight. I think I found and hit every rock in the river....I'm sure I'm going to be bruised tomorrow. I made sure I had the biggest tube but needless to say....things were still hanging out and hitting the rocks. Tomorrow morning we are off to Snohomish for the day to celebrate Kaylee's 1st birthday (Alan/Lenora's). Summer is almost gone and the kids are just about ready to start back to school, I just have a few more things to buy and we will be set. Time for bed for me.....

Still Alive....
Jan informed me tonight at the dinner table that people needed to start blogging or she's going to stop.....STOP....she can't stop.....we all enjoy her pictures to much. So, here I am. Not a whole lot to say. I am going to the school tomorrow to register the kids in school. Wednesday we get to do the free sports physicals for the two of them and I'm not looking forward to that. My day consists of sleeping, eating, reading, shopping for a house and an occasional nice chat/talk with Mom when everyone else has went to bed. I've been missing the Lake...its not been hot enough to go swimming. Kat thinks I'm a wimp, but it really needs to be in the mid 90's for me to enjoy the coolness of the water. I really do miss all my little beach buddies from Oregon. We really are enjoying being back, I have enjoyed church so much. There is nothing like going to church with family/friends that have known you most of your life. Life is good.....peaceful, quiet and good.

Life!
Life has been interesting for us to say the least. Too much to tell and blog, so if you want to know....you will have to call. This week has been a little hectic for us but we are good and things are definately looking up. Enjoyed the visiting brethern....it was funny....I move from Oklahoma and sit in church in Washington with the Elder from Purcell. We have been enjoying Cynthia and the girls....they are too cute and Kierra is turning into a Lake Chelan water baby. Can't wait for Emma/Chad and the little guys to visit. We are doing Jord's Birthday tomorrow night. I decided to grill ribs and have the fixin's for all the family and maybe give Mom a night off. It seems all I do is look for houses to rent, buy, steal, or maybe hobo live in a empty barn....just kidding. We have it really good thanks to Mom & Dad.....but I really would love to be able to give the house back to them. Until next time....its bedtime for this old gal.

Trip Home
We had a nice trip. Thanks for all the good food and good company.

jlw
We took White Pass home, Mnt. Rainer was incredible.
We also stopped at Heirloom Rose Gardens so I could clear my alergies out. I brought two roses home, Kateryna the little pink above, and Royal Pageant, the orange/peach below. They will be for Mom's garden.

Oregon Trip
Thanks to Cynthia for the bed and visits, Tamsin for the great food, and everyone for the great company! It was worth the trip just to see the babies!!!!So sweet. Sorry I didn't make it for church. I made up my mind Saturday night that we would leave in the morning, woke up Sunday morning and thought....you better go to church....but decided we needed to come home as Jord was having problems breathing. Although, I can't blame him for not going....I know he would've stayed if I would have said something. Next time I will be there. We came home via White Pass (drops into Yakima) and Mt. Rainier was incredible. Total view...no clouds...it was amazing. We also had perfect views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood. You can't beat the Northwest for beauty. Thanks again for the visits....we will see everyone soon.

Becoming a Washitonian Again!
Trying to get settled in. Things change when you have been away for 8 years. Enjoyed this last week with Brandi,Liz and the kids. The Lake was great....one look and I remember why I love the Chelan valley. Church has been such a peaceful place for me, we have been having some good meetings. People have grown in the faith and that is always a comfort. I have noticed changes in the kids, they have been having a blast with the all the cousins and friends. I'm a little sore this morning, we played softball yesterday at the park after church.....needless to say....I am out of shape. Lots of laughter and lots of comments from the oldies team....although we did beat the youngins'. I still don't know how we managed that, I think it was Ruben and his determination to win!!! Ha!!! We love Ruben, he's so enthusiastic about softball. Can't wait to take Kierra to the lake, so come on Cynthia.....we are waiting!

We have arrived!
Dogs barking, feathers flying....4 tired people climbing out of vehicles....we have arrived. Jord and I spent the first day looking for a house, didn't have any luck. Yesterday, it was time to open bank accounts, transfer insurance and all the other fun stuff that I hate to do. The kids are settling in. Creston is playing tonight on the Babe Ruth team. Kat is crying because her age group is done for the year, I emailed a woman in Wenatchee and asked if she knew anyone in Chelan that was playing ball. We will see. We don't know how to act without watching some sort of ballgame.....life was supposed to slow down.

Thought It was the last
Just a quick blog. Jord didn't get the job in Wenatchee, so it must not be the one for him. Remember us....he hurt himself a little trying to move boxes....I want to beat him.

Packing!!!
This will be my last post for a while.... we are packing the house the rest of the week. Time is not in our favor at this point. I went ahead and paid the money for a dumpster to be delivered to the house so we can throw away what we don't need. Cleaning out the barns should prove to be exciting. Washington here we come!!! Remember us on the roads. It's been a long time since I've had to drive for 10-12 hours in a day. Jord always does the driving and I've been a little spoiled. We are definately ready mentally to head out. Talk to everyone soon.

Time is slipping away!
We try not to look at the time. We are running out of it. Haven't packed one box yet, Jord is getting a little anxious about it. I called Sis. Katrina and asked if she would like to clean the house for us after we are packed up....she cleans houses for a living. That will be one stress off of me. Our Landlord has already rented the house....they move in the end of May. He was very upset we were leaving, we've only rented from him for over 7 years. Every weekend is full this month with parties, graduations, and of course softball. We've had a lot of rain and some of Kat's games got rescheduled. I hope Mom/Dad are ready for a little softball because two of her games got rescheduled for the week they are here. I've been home sick the last two days....Jord has been teasing me that its the swine flu....no fever...just congestion and a earache. I will survive. Slowing we are getting little things done-electric company called, phone company called, taxes paid for Oklahoma. All the fun stuff that either takes money or time. I cashed in half of my vacation time because I won't have time to use all of it. I've been trying to get rid of the two parakeets. I don't want to bring them with us. So far- no takers. They are annoying creatures. Well, got to go have some hot tea with honey....we will see all of you in a short time.

Life at the Wilson's
Well, as the pictures show...we have been overwhelmed with baseball and softball. This is Creston's post. I finally got some baseball pic's although they weren't of him pitching. That will be another post. After Jord tried on the catching gear, I thought....why not? I can catch for Creston and be safe. So, here is a little laughter for all of you to share. What a shot thanks to my darling daughter Kat! It is so much different than catching for Kat, the ball comes alot faster...and the ball is alot smaller. He only has two more games and he will be done for the year. Kat on the other hand will be playing until we pull out of the yard loaded down for Washington. I looked at my house today and thought I had better get busy cleaning before Mom/Dad come. When your gone as much as us things start to look pretty bad. We have every weekend full until we leave....but we are very excited because the time goes by so fast.

Easter...A Little of this and a little of that!
Hope everyone had a good Easter. We enjoyed ourselves. Janice and Michael came over after church for dinner. Isacc also came over---Elizabeth came over later for pie and coffee. Very relaxing day but we all missed home. Jord decided to try out the new catching gear I purchased. I also bought head gear, I figured with both kids pitching, we were going to need it. I wasn't able to get pic's of Creston pitching the last game because of the fencing. Next time, I'm going to ask Coach if I can sit in the dug out to take pic's.....Creston is going to love that! I mean with all the fencing, I can't get any pictures. Mom's always figure out a way to get things done.....we have a little over a month before the BIG MOVE.....is everyone ready for another Wilson family in Pateros???? HA.

Kat's Tournament
Well... after braving high winds and low, low temperatures....the girls came home with the 1st place trophy. Long but fun weekend. We were all exhausted, cold and happy all at the same time. I am going to attempt to put pictures on the blog. The one of the team.....you will see Emily Nere in the picture. She plays on Kat's tournament team. The second picture is of Cassie and Kat. They have played on the same team since they were 5 years old. Cassie is the coaches daughter and our #1 pitcher. Kat plays 3rd base and is the lead off hitter. It makes for an exciting game. They have come along way since 5 years old. I will be posting Creston pic's later....he has a tournament this coming weekend, so we hope to get some good shots of sugarman pitching! The other pictures are of Kat's spring concert. We thought she looked awful pretty in her green silk shirt......she's going to love her Mom....

Kids!!!
Kat actually went to school 2 days this week. She had 2 track meets and 1 vocal competition. Jord and I were not impressed that all of that was scheduled in the same week.....parents become the teachers because of all the make up work she will have to do. This weekend we will be gone to a tournament for Kat's softball in OKC. Creston has played 5 games in the last 7 days.....needless to say I am worn out!! There is a rule in our house....if your grades change (lower) because of sports or other activities, something will go and it won't be the school books! So far, so good. Jord is constanting growling "check the kids grades online, there is no way they haven't slipped!" Well, I checked the grades this morning and there is an ALL CLEAR from the Mom. I don't know how they do it, but so far they are maintaining their A average. I think it was wishful thinking on Jord's part. Ha... He has been working hard also. He put in to many hours this week and ended up not having to work today.....not fair. Time is closing in on us for the big move. We are so busy that time is not on our side. We still have to buy new tires for the Honda, figure a way to transport all the critters, prepare for Jord's graduation and manage to fit in all of the softball, track, vocal, band, and baseball. Sigh..... oh and the most important part...PACK!!!

Creston
O.K. I know I'm going to sound like all I do is brag on my kids but isn't that supposed to be the job of the Mom? Creston had a game last night and coach threw him in to pitch the last 3 innings of the game. He faced 11 batters and struck out 8!!!! He also come alive at the bat...1 single, 1 double, 1 walk. Elizabeth, Kat and I were so excited.....the only bad part was Jord had a meeting at Mid west City and missed all the excitement. So, I had to play by play with him over the phone. It was a confidence boost for Creston....he's so laid back and I want him to be aggressive and own the mound. He's just not like that.....its probably a good thing he's not like his mother because he has more control/focus when things are stressful. Anyway, enough of that....good game and exciting to watch. Isacc also had a great game. All of our spirits were lifted yesterday with the news of Emma/Chad's new LOL. Ha!!! Kat got a kick out of his initials. What a cutie he is....we are waiting for more pictures whenever anyone gets time.

Time Away
It was the last day of the kid's spring break so we loaded up the car and headed for Dallas to spend the night. We got in town Friday morning and went straight to the Aquarium. It was really neat..you can view pic's on Kat's blog. Went shopping at North Park Mall...it's supposed to be one of the largest in the US. Spent to much money at Aeropostle for the kids, but it was fun and good prices too. Saturday was Jord's day and we went to the Arborateum, which was beautiful....again pic's on Kat's blog. We needed the time away with the kids. Our schedules are so crazy, we don't get enough family time with all four of us together in one place. Creston had a game last night. He got to pitch in the first game and did really well. We were having a wind storm and at times I thought Creston was going to blow away. Tough to pitch in those conditions but he did really well. They both have tournaments this weekend so Jord will be with Creston and I will be with Kat. Miss everyone. Be hunting for us a house.....it's only 2 months away!!!

Sleepless Mom
Were do I start....Creston and Kat both had games Friday night. Because I have to be at Kat's...Jord went to Creston's. So, here I am in the dugout and Jord calls telling me that Creston pitched for the first time and I missed it. Jord was so excited and happy for him. I was teary-eyed that I didn't get to watch him. (like I won't ever see him pitch-it must be mid life emotional blues or something) Anyway, Kat played the most amazing game Friday. We won 1-0. The only run scored was Kat stole home. Pretty exciting. We ended up winning the tournament which was a thrill because we were playing teams from all over the state. 6 games total and still going. Last night, Creston had a double header, so Jord and I both left work early and off to the ball game we went. Sugarman took the mound and Mom was a teary-eyed again. It's just hard to believe that our kids are looking so grown up. Time flies. All I could think of was my Dad, and how much he would've enjoyed watching Creston play. I was impressed with Creston....he was very calm, laid back, very consistent.....just needs to work on his speed. Overall, I think he has a lot of potential to be a good pitcher. Tonight, another game for Creston and another one on Friday. I will definately be ready for the weekend. No games.....a lot of laundry to catch up on and cleaning of the house but no games. I am going to try to bring the camera so I can blog some pictures....we took the camera to the tournament but I left the chip in the computer so we didn't get any pic's of Kat. Oh well....

Long Weekend
Very emotional and long weekend. Found out on Sunday that my car has an oil leak. So, dip into the moving savings to get my car repaired. I hope its not as bad as it sounds. I got home late last night from Etta's funeral. I went with Sis. Judy and Shelly. Jord had meetings and the kids had school activities so I went my myself. Not a good idea. It was a long, hard day with a lot of emotions. Jord and I were up late visiting....it's so good to come home after a day like that and just hug your husband and kids. We are anxiously waiting for May to come. We are all READY! Creston and Kat are full steam ahead with sports......our life is about to get really crazy. Hope everyone is doing good. Be looking for us a house.......

Happy Valentines Day
Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. Jord and I had planned on going out by ourselves, but I had to go to Vici on Saturday so we went out Friday night with the kids in tow. We had already planned on being in the city Friday night because Creston/Kat had to have baseball/softball items for the season. Went to Academy Sports and they had a huge sale. Jord got two Columbia hooded sweatshirts for $10.00/each. Wow...they were 45.00 dollar sweatshirts. I laughed at Quilty Lady's bonding time. Jord and I had bonding time Sunday evening. We sang/played the piano....busted up laughing when we tried to sing "Why Me Lord". Jord was trying to do the speaking part and well it sounded like an ex-convict.....we couldn't stop the laughing, so we moved on to another song. Things seem so much funnier when you get older. It doesn't take very much to make us laugh. Are the honeymooner's back yet? I want some pictures of Hawaii on the blog.

Happy Birthday Abe!!!
It doesn't seem possible that little Abe turned 18. I asked Jord, "are you sure" "18??", I think he's 17. Jord assured me that he was 18. I had to pull out our wedding pictures and look how much everyone has changed. Abe was a cute blonde headed toddler when we got married. We were going to call last night to wish him a Happy Birthday but Jord said he was going to dinner with Mom/Dad....So....Happy Birthday Abe!! Creston and Kat officially started the baseball/softball season. Things are about to get really crazy at the Wilson's. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to be in two places at once. We had tornado's last night. They tore up areas south and north of us, but didn't come through Lexington...thank goodness. Very sad for people...we lost around 15 lives because one of the tornado's hit during the night and people weren't prepared. I'm so glad that Washington doesn't have tornado's! A big thank you to Jan for posting pictures of Gideon/Brandi's wedding. Jord/I didn't take the camera because we didn't have room in the carry ons. (paying for check in luggage really stinks, you are so limited to what you can bring) Sure can't wait for the next little Lybarger to be born. It's like we wait for the next big event until the end of May when we can load the truck. Speaking of trucks.....we officially reserved the big truck for the move. Dad told us about a rental truck company, I priced the truck/trailer and it was $800.00 cheaper than U-Haul!!!! Wow...thanks Dad! I got on Dad's blog for the first time and seen all the changes going on. Love all the changes and colors and can't wait to see it.

Home Once Again
It was nice to sleep in our own bed last night although Jord had nightmares and woke me up yelling out my name. Freaky....so neither one of us got much sleep. I am patiently waiting for Jan to post wedding pictures....we love you Jan! We enjoyed seeing everyone and really enjoyed the little tykes. Creston said that May can't come soon enough for him, he is ready to move. We will be so busy from now till May, the time is going to fly by. Between Baseball, Softball and Jord's graduation, we aren't going to have but only a few free weekends. My assistant has known about us moving for some time and it really didn't set in until today. She came into my office and broke down......we have worked side by side for 3 1/2 years. She's a great person and I will definately miss her but not enough to change my mind!!!!

Ice, Ice, Ice
It's been 24 hours so far of falling ice. Not good. The power is still on and it's not accumulating on the trees and power lines, which is good. We have about 3-4 inches of sleet on the ground. Schools and business's are shut down. So, the kids are playing outside....thinking its snow....closet thing to it for Okie's. Jord is working on his grad project and I am thinking I need to start doing laundry so we will have something to wear on the trip. Went shopping last Saturday for Creston. I thought...it won't be hard to find black slacks and a white shirt. WRONG!!! Went to 8 different stores to find pants for this no hip, tall, skinny kid of mine. Finally found a pair at the 3rd Penny's we went to. I mean one pair....that was all they had left in his size. I breathed a sigh of relief. Just have to buy a tie for Jord, which I know I can find. The weather is supposed to be 45-50 degrees tomorrow, so the ice will be gone by late afternoon. I have enjoyed all the pictures of the kids playing ball. Rylan...just to warn you. Aunt K is a little vocal at ball games. Uncle Jord continues to pat me telling me to calm down. It just takes all the fun out of the game when you can't yell for your kids. I must get it from my mom....see was very vocal at the kid's games. Now I will have so many to cheer for...Kat, Creston, Rylan, Rhi, Irish, Tag, Dakota, Zane, Arie, Lance, Abe and the list goes on.....sounds like fun times ahead for me!!

Packing???Not....
We had a good weekend. Busy as usual. Katarina was chosen to go to Circle the State Choir. So, I dropped her off at the school at 7:15 and they practiced all day and then did the concert that afternoon. It was alot of fun. We didn't have to travel far, the concert was held in Norman. There were approximately 120-130 six and seventh graders and they were good. I was impressed. Creston won't do his all school concert until April. Church yesterday was really good. We actually had to open up the kitchen and use all the chairs......we haven't been that full in some time. Lots of visiting brethern from all over the state, church ended up going for a little over 3 hours. We are preparing for an ice storm that is supposed to come today and tomorrow. After last year, we are a little nervous. We hope that power will stay on. I am relieved that it will be over before Thursday because we fly out during the day. I need to start packing......had to remind Jord that baggage costs!!! We will probably buy a couple of carryons....but then that would pay for 1 bag checked in. So who knows....see everyone on Friday. Some of you I will get to see Thursday!!!! Yippee!!!

Less than two weeks
The kids have a countdown to Gideon's wedding....less than two weeks! We are very excited but probably not as much as Brandy and Gideon. We had a quiet weekend. Just the normal get groceries.....I thought about posting my specials like Liz does but the stores we use are local and not chain stores. I got boneless/skinless chicken breasts for $1.29 pound......much cheaper and healthier than hamburger. Kat got to go to the OKC Thunder game (previously known as Supersonics of Seattle)....she had a blast. She then got invited to go to a girls OU Basketball game and I think she loved that more than the Thunder game. Jord has been working fiercely on his grad project trying to get it done. Creston had zero activities this weekend, which was nice or me because he helped me around the house. Kat had to do her share between her games. Church was good on Sunday, we had visiting brethern from Parkland. It was a packed house.....I told Jord the one thing I will miss the most is the singing. It is so enjoyable to sing with the Purcell brethern. I've been tried a little lately----second guessing our decision to move....worried about the ecomony. Guess what was preached on Sunday???? Worrying about worldly possessions and having faith that God will provide. So, woke up this morning with a better mind. We know this is what we are supposed to do and God will provide!

Quiet on the Homefront
Pretty quiet Saturday. It was 70 degrees yesterday and woke this morning to 26 degrees...its no wonder I can't get rid of this cold. Kat and I went to get groceries this morning while Jord worked on his grad project....its very good....I think its his best work yet. Creston is telling me I need to get boxes so we can pack the things we don't use. Kids!!! Does he not know that we still have almost 5 months left....I don't want to look at packed boxes for 5 months. I hope the weather straightens up before Gideon/Brandi's wedding. I really don't want to get stuck in Denver. It's exciting to have Emma, Dad and Jerry with Blogs.....before long, its going to take me a full day to get to everyone's blogs. I love it...it makes us feel connected to the family.

It Finally Caught Up With Me
Yep! I did it....coming home from Kat's basketball game I got a whopping speeding ticket. Never had one before....been stopped many times but somehow managed to get out of it. Jord has warned me that I was going to get caught and sure enough I was on unfamiliar back roads headed back to Norman and I was doing 62 in a 45.....$170.00 ticket that has to be paid before we leave for the wedding. So much for me wanting to eat fresh seafood....it will be McDonalds for us. Special THANKS to EMMA for the Christmas present. I went and spent it when Bath/Body was having their big sale. Loved it!!! Thank you.

Life at the Wilson's
We are back to school and back on the normal schedule. I've been battling cold/congestion for about a week now. Just when I think I have it kicked.....it comes back in the night. Miserable stuff but not as bad as what is going around in Pateros. We opened a envelope that came in the mail yesterday and smiling back at me were two of the sweetest little Wilson girls. Thanks Cynthia....we love the pictures. Just remembered today that I haven't reserved our car for the Olympia trip....better get on it or we will be thumbing it. Sis. Dorthy Brown has been pretty bad. We don't know if she got the flu or if she had a stroke.....she definately needs prayers. Emma needs to invite all of us to her blog....we are waiting very impatiently. Looked around the house and thought about the job thats ahead packing up all the stuff we have accumulated in the last 8 years. I am not looking forward to that part at all. Creston definately thinks that we are not going to be able to fit everything in one U-Haul. I told him that we get the biggest one and he is saying "no way Mom....we can't fit it all in" , we will have to see. Teenagers think they know so much and us adults haven't a clue.....Funny....I wonder if I acted that way when I was a teenager! I've been told by Conn and Greg that I was somewhat of a brat....Can you believe that!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year to everyone. It was a pretty quiet night at the Wilson's for New Year's Eve. I had got sick on Tuesday with the headache, fever, sore throat....missed work on Wednesday and stayed home to bring in the New Year. We played games with the kids---Jord made it until 11:40 and went to bed and was asleep by 11:50! The kids and I stayed up until midnight and then to bed for me. Feeling pretty good today. We just ate BBQ ribs and bunches of other stuff for the New Year....Jord decided to go for his walk to try and work off the last half of his dinner and I decided to take Christmas down. What a chore!! I guess I'm doing better than last year, we left it up until February because no one wanted the job of taking it down! We are counting the days.....can't wait until January 29th.....let's hope we don't get stuck in Denver!
