Home Sweet Home
We made it home with zero airline problems. We stepped outside and about croaked from the heat. We got used to the 65 degrees and suddenly we are in 90+ weather. We spent Sunday mowing/checking animals/laundry and visiting. We found out some great news when we got home. Bro Johnny and Sis Dana Trevino received a phone call about a young mother in the world that didn't want her baby anymore. Sad. Johnny and Dana were able to get the court to sign off on all the paperwork and receive full custody/adoption rights within 48 hours of getting the baby. We all consider this to be a miracle, things like this just don't happen. Three nights before Johnny got the call about the baby he prayed and told God "you know I don't have a son to teach your ways too like you taught your son" and when he received the call....he broke down crying and told Dana "we are getting a son, I know its going to work out." Anyway, much rejoicing in Lexington. His name is Jessie and he is 8 1/2 months old and cute as can be. Johnny and Dana are thrilled and emotional---they have been married 20+ years with no children. Creston and Kat have been a little mopey since we got home, they feel they were ripped off with only getting 10 days with the family. We hope to be able to send them out for longer next year. Thanks to everyone for the good food, good beds and great company...we will see you in January.
