Grass is greener

"There is a tasty blade of grass, notice mom's protective presence"

"Oh, yeah sweety, if you want that little piece of grass, you can have it?"

"Doesn't matter, voluntary flinch or not."

Geese and goslings, dear brother. Many geese would be a gaggle, a male goose a gander, a female a goose and a baby a gosling.

You didn't retain much from your experiences of feeding your momma's animals, did you?

(grin)

I didn't count the baby ducks tonight. Momma kept low to the ground and aimed for my ankles or flew up to get my nose. Then I found two mottled javas chickies with a this years hen and she tried to kill everybody that was in the pen. Oh the joys of feeding the sweet little things! I have bruises on my arms to prove that I did.
