Just to clear some things up about the way the comments are being posted on this blog now. I am moderating all postings. So yes, Audrey, if you say something I don't particularly like, I have the power to send it to cyber purgatory (grin). Actually, I am moderating so Mr. computer virus doesn't have access to the blog.

I'm still not keeping up with the blog, but I am forwarding the comments just as fast as I open my mail. And that is why they don't post immediately like they use to.

Great Friday/Saturday

Well, we made it through Friday and the Competition was a lot of fun. Katarina received a Superior for her solo and Creston/Band received a Superior also! We were very excited. The Saturday off---didn't happen. Is anyone surprised??? We totally forgot that it Lexington 89'ers weekend and Creston had to march in the parade. OOPS!! We got him there and it is quite a thrill to watch your young man marching down the street looking much to old for his own good. Kids grow up so fast! Katarina is working on a Scrapbook of her life for school and we have been digging out old photos, time really flies by. I suddenly felt really OLD!! (and fat) We are still pricing tickets to fly out. We have made up our mind that if the tickets don't come down by the middle of May, then we are going to drive out the end of June or middle of July. I'm hoping for the plane tickets.....I would like to drive, its just that it eats up 4 very good Lake Chelan days that I really need. Ha!! This is what I look forward too....Lawn chair, cold drinks, swimming and good company. Last year is going to be hard to beat....How about it girls???? Are we going to have a date at the Lake? I hope so.

Getting a Friday Off!!

Well, after a very long 2 months, my assistant is back from a family leave and I actually get to take a Friday off! Just ask Petra how hard it is for me to get away! Anyway, Creston and Kat are both competing in the Pauls Valley Music Competition today for their school and I wasn't going to miss it. I will spending the day with the kids listening to hopefully some really good music, which you all know is right up my alley. Creston is playing his trombone and Kat was chosen to sing a solo. This is the first competition for her and she was a little nervous this morning. Creston will be going for the second time so he sitting back chillin' like there's not a care in the world. We will then rush home because Creston has a double header tonight at 5:00. I believe that tomorrow Jord and I can actually have a free day----no games, no practice, no "I need to be here at a certain time"! We may even tackle the yard this weekend---we are supposed to have 70-80 degree weather. Love the pic's on everyone's blog, its nice to see all the kids and of course updated pic's of Jan's Chocolate Labs....LOVE IT!!!
