Holiday Weekend
Busy, Busy....We had a great feast at our house over Thanksgiving. Manthy, Ruben and the kids came down and also we had Janice here for dinner. Tasty!!! I do believe that Manthy and I thought we were cooking for the entire Wilson gang....there was so much food leftover. All was good until Zane came crying into the house....Creston had shot a fake arrow that hit him above the eye. Scary....I know Creston learned a valuable lesson....he was quite upset about the ordeal. Zane is o.k...thank goodness....bruised but o.k. Jord and I and the kids loaded up Thanksgiving night and went shopping at Garden Ridge. What a blast! We got fun things for the house and Christmas tree. They had 50% off all Christmas Decor', they had 6 rows of specialty ornaments....needless to say....we went a little overboard. They had fleece blankets for $2.99!!!! That was my shopping excurtion for the weekend. Hope everyone had a great holiday and you know what they say......28 days left of shopping.

I wish we had something like the garden ridge thing, it sounds fun!
we were at garden ridge that am or we would have seen you again. he tried to milk his eye for a while but i would not let him i just told him to put his hoodie up and keep the sun out of it. yeah, i am beginning to think that zane has a wound magnet in him or something. he is soooo accident prone! agh!! and uh, yeah, creston felt sooo bad, i felt bad for him.
ouch!!do you all have sun out their? I just want to know if you all used paper plates for the big day or did you and manthy end up washing everything?
Paper plates?????!!!!Your brother won't eat on paper plates on a normal day let alone Thanksgiving. You know me, I was at Kohl's shopping for a brand tablecloth and napkins for the holiday table.
uh...us washing? it is called a dishwasher, you shut the door, turn the knob and poof, cleanliness galore!! and i must say, well done on the linens, good find... hehehe... we would have each have to had about 3 paper plates EACH with all the food. i think i forgot my cookie sheet?? hang on to it for me, would ya?
I actually couldnt find my fine china & ended up going to bi-mart for some matching plates & for the napkins we used old ones---but dont worry im already looking for the Christmas ones--
I'm about ready to go shopping for some new festive dishes and linens. Tired of all the old rags!
Paper plaits are for poor people that like to fill land fills and sit on the couch and watch soaps
we used a tablecloth and REAL napkins this year too. usually i just buy a better quality paper napkin! AND--haha! we used g'ma wilsons crystal goblets!!!! very pretty and i loved the sentimental, mushy feeling it gave me!!!!
are they at least dishwasher safe or did you get stuck handwashing them??
handwashing a few little goblets is not a big deal sweetie. it's not like i was in a hurry to go anywhere. closest starbucks is 20 miles away and i don't even like coffee. pepsi's in the fridge and it tastes real good straight from the can!!!

I'm sorry about Kat/Creston's blogs. We have been on the run and then everyone home sick with the cold flu....Jord is the one that needs to do it...I don't have a clue how too...Sad isn't it? I will try and get him to do that this weekend as we will be cooped up in the house because we are supposed to have freezing rain...not fun.

Hey, I really have plans to send Christmas cards, but if plans change I'll shoot for Valentines Day!
uh huh.... since we'll have forgotten by then and you can send out 4th of july cards??????????
