I'm pretty excited tonight. I got an internship with Guernsey Engineers & Architecture. I will be working under a licensed Landscape Architect, which is as rare as hens teeth in Oklahoma.
Hey thats pretty neat! (way to go) so how long do you intern before you go solo? Or after intern do you then move on to something higher within a firm? (I'm kind of ignorant when it comes to this super technical stuff)haha
I have to intern for 3 years, and then I can begin the license process.
The license process is very long and intense. I actually have 5 years maximum to finish taking the numerous tests involved once I have taken the first test.
I will probably continue to work for an architecture or engineer firm after I'm licensed.
