100 Years since Statehood.
What a great day and a great parade. It was our Centennial Parade this weekend. We got up to the performance square about 9:30 and watched rehearsals until the parade started at 2pm. It was great. It was the biggest parade for OKC and probably will be for a while.

ahh.... city kids. my poor kids haven't even got to see the apple blossom parade!!!
dont worry, my kids live about 30 minutes closer than his and they did not get to see it. haha..
but hey, thanks for the pics, now i feel like i was there....
so thats where you guys were when I tried calling you! I think Quilty lady and Manthy need to get out and introduce there kids to some culture! Ha Ha
ahh...country kids visit the city. I would not consider my kids, city kids.
that is a cool slide show---cool parade
i think bellew babe needs to stop spending so much time organizing her house. she is making us all look bad!haha.
I agree with you, your kids are country kids. I think mine are to, we live 2 miles out of the little town (no city water or sewer here) and about 10-15 out of the big town, I'm thinking thats country
okay, heres the deciding factor on whats country, whats city. how far is it from your house to a taco bell, huh????
just close enough I can eat there everyday for lunch if I want to, but just far enough away I can't smell it!
I would guess that we are at least 14 miles from a Taco Bell, and a good 20+ minute drive. I would say that your McDonald's is closer to you than our McDonald's is to us. I haven't actually clocked it, but I would guess that our Purcell or Noble McDonald's is over 6 miles away from us.
who actually goes to mcdonalds????
which taco bell??? i think they are both about the same distance!!! hehehehe.... and you gotta know that there are 5 starbucks within... 5 miles!! and the bean counter, and the rio java... hhmmmm. i am thinkin def. city!!! hehehe
