No Summer Blues Here......

We thought our lives would be slowing down since school was out, but so far that is a BIG no.  Kat was notified yesterday that she was chosen to play in the Fastpitch NW Championship tournament in Centralia July 22-24.  Exciting for her and should be a ton of fun.  They chose top athletes from WA, ID, OR, MT and Hawaii and then they all meet, form teams and play in a tournament.  Jord and I are planning a date night with the Evans when the kids leave for the Oregon coast next week.  Today, Creston's new bed and nightstand got delivered so he should be a happy camper and hopefully sleep better.  I think he feels like he is sleeping in the dungeon compared to his living quarters at Uncle Chads/Aunt Emma's.  We are counting the days till we head off on our family vacation to the Olympic National Park.  I am ready for some relaxation!

Friday for me....

So nice to have Creston home, although I don't think he appreciates sleeping in the small bed in the back room.  It's a horrible bed and I don't know how Kat slept on it as long as she did.  We are going to have to take care of that soon.  I think he is already tired of my hovering and constantly hugging him.  Oh well....that's what happens when your kid is gone for 9 months and comes home.  Took Kat to a Softball camp on Tuesday in Ellensburg at Central University.  Long, tiring day but fun for her.  Tomorrow, I have to take Kona in for another set of shots.....she is turning out to be a great addition to the farm.  Pretty intelligent little lady.

Two Little Hoodlums having fun in the sun.....

Got home from church yesterday and the girls decided they wanted to run through the sprinklers before eating dinner and heading home.  They had a blast and we really enjoyed having them, but so glad I have today off to recuperate.
