Short Week

The girls won Districts on Saturday so on to State for them!  Went up to camp on Sunday for church and meeting was wonderful....over 5 hours....sure didn't seem like it was that long.  Enjoyed seeing everyone and had a good visits with some sisters.  Jord worked in the yard Sunday and Monday and it is coming along.   This week is crazy busy for us (as usual).  Tonight is a fund raiser pasta dinner for the Softball team.  Tomorrow is church and Thursday we leave for Yakima.  Did I mention that Jagur is the sweetest little boy around! So good to hold him and kiss his cheeks!

Love the Sunshine!

Well, we made it back and it felt so good to be home.  We had a great time and enjoyed everyone.  Friday we met Creston on campus and went to lunch at The Jail......great food! We then headed to the game then to Cynthia's for a family BBQ and visiting.  Saturday, went to game #2, shopped at the mall (Jord went nursery shopping), ate lunch and then back to game #3.  Met up with Liz, Lionel, Em and the boys at "Sizzle Pies" in downtown Eugene for dinner.  Fantastic Pizza and Salad! We then headed to Lowell and everyone went to Abe/Steena's for a bonfire and all the fixins'.  Chantry is a doll, such a happy, sweet little guy.  Abe's house is cute and has a beautiful view of the lake.....I could park my lawn chair on the dock and be a happy camper! Stayed the night with Em/Chad and had a wonderful breakfast before heading to game #4.  Last game and then headed to the Heirloom Rose Garden.  We were all beat and exhausted when we pulled into home at midnight.  I was so thankful that Jord/I had Monday off to recoup.  I don't think we could've packed anything more into a weekend.....thanks to all the Oregon family for the beds, food and visiting.....loved it!

Great Weekend

Friday morning I headed to the church to do Kristen's cake.  Brandi/Nevelyn came out and helped me, which was great!  I then headed to Lake Roosevelt for a double header-girls won both.  Saturday was the shower and I thought the cake was beautiful.  I created it in my mind and told Jord what I wanted to do, and he worked his magic.  I loved the broaches and the ribbon.  Sunday I threw a ham in the oven. I was supposed to have Richard over for his birthday but changed my mind- took Richard and we went with the family to Mexican.  So glad we did.  Dinner was so good and I didn't have to cook it.  Jord surprised me with two bouquets of flowers from his garden.  They were incredible.  We are headed to Eugene on Friday.  We have a long weekend and Coach Jim's daughter Tracie-  she coaches for Wisconsin- they made it to the NCAA playoffs and will be playing in Eugene on campus fields.  So, taking Kat out of school and heading down to see the games and Paco.  Can't wait to see everyone-especially little Chantry!

Another Day....

Went to Liberty Bell last night for softball and watched our girls stomp them 16-1.  Kat hit a homerun over the centerfield fence and two doubles.  Pretty exciting game.  Got a little rained on, but thank goodness it didn't rain for long.  Got home and had a big surprise when Nevelyn came to visit.....oh....and Gideon/Brandi...LOL!  We have some baby goslings and Jord brought them out on the grass so she could hold them.  So cute......love baby goslings.  It was a fun evening...enjoyed their visit.  This week I have to bake the cakes for Kristen's bridal shower cake.  Brandi is going to help me on Friday when I decorate it.  I have a few ideas, so hopefully it turns out.  Marty came over last weekend and helped Jord fix my dryer.  I am so relieved.....I really didn't want to buy a new one.  The only cost to me was fixing biscuits and gravy for everyone.  Pretty good deal!
