Oh Christmas Tree.....
We picked up our Christmas Tree on Saturday then headed to Wenatchee to do some shopping. We had to leave our Pilot at the Honda Dealer's to have a part replaced, so Lance, Kim & Marty picked us up in Wenatchee and we headed to the Waterville game. Good game....by the time I got home, I was congested, sore throat and aching. I didn't get out at all yesterday, I didn't even get out of my pj's......feel better today. No voice.....but oh well. Jord is tearing apart the living room, taking down book shelves, rearranging.....de-cluttering before we put the tree up.

Tis the Season!
Really enjoyed the ocean and the family. Loved the shopping trips and all the pie/coffee. We returned home to Kat having 5 games in one week. Nothing like BOOM.....its basketball season. So far, the girls have won the first three. Tonight we play ACH and tomorrow Waterville. Should be fun. Saturday our Christmas is coming in....we order it from the ski program. $40 for a Noble fir-good price and we don't have to go far to get it. Hope everyone has fun at the Wilson's Christmas Party this weekend......

Long Weekend.....Longer week ahead
Saturday, Jord and I traveled to Yakima to watch volleyball. Headed home. Went to church Sunday, and sat in a great meeting. Ran home, changed clothes and hopped in the car with Jord to go to Spokane and pick up some prime chickens he had purchased. We got to Spokane and met Jim/Terri for dinner at 5 Guys Burgers (so good). Met up with the chicken guy and then headed home. We got home by 9:30 pm. Needless to say, I am a little whooped this morning. We enjoyed all our little trick or treaters on Friday night. We actually had a good number of kids. Mom/Pa's house sure looks good when you are returning from Wenatchee and look at the hill. Impressive!

Back Home......
Thank you Emma for all the food and the bed. It was great to get away. Enjoyed all the visits with my sisters and seeing all the kids. Can't wait for the new little Wilson baby to arrive. Here are a few pic's of Homecoming. Kat received Ms. Volleyball and see got to crown the royalty. Marty drove her in the Model T pickup that Bro. Claude refinished. It was so cool! Mickey received Homecoming King.

Year #2
Said goodbye to Creston this morning. It feels like we didn't get enough family time this summer. Kind of a bummer! By the way.......it doesn't get any easier telling him goodbye! I am posting pictures of Gideon and Creston on Gid's high country hunt. Thanks Gideon.....I stole these from Creston. I love the pictures.

Wilson Update
Tonight Jord leaves for Olympia with George. Tomorrow Jord has to present the RCO grant, we hope we get it.....it will be a great addition to our city and the largest grant we have ever received. There is a group of us going to Wenatchee tonight to cheer on the volleyball team (actually, I think Marty/Kim are going to see Lance) hee hee....they are having a hard time with him being gone. Originally, it was going to be Kim, Brandi and Nevelyn going with me, but now we have two cars going cuz Marty and Creston want to go. Should be fun! Really looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks.

Visit
Jord has to do a 3 day class in Silverton Oregon, so I am going with him. I wanted to know if any of my sister's would like to come and get me on one of the days and then Jord would come down to Eugene after his day is done and pick me up. The class is October 7, 8 and 9th. We are stopping to stay the night with Petra on the 6th. Looking forward to spending 3 quiet days away from Pateros.

Time Flys when your having so much fun! NOT!
We spent the weekend in Spokane school shopping for Kat. Really hard to find anything colorful for senior pictures. Everything is blacks/whites/shades of grey. We finally found a few things at Maurices and Rue 21. We enjoyed getting away from the rat race of fire disaster. I just wanted to take naps all day long, but I did good and kept up with Kat and Terri shopping. Jim/Jord hit all the nursery clearance sales and both came home with "gems" to plant. Kat went to Estes Fruitstand this morning to pick up the fruit for the trip to Eugene. They are leaving Firday morning at 2 am. Kat has practice tonight until 8pm and I told Creston he needed to get a few hours of sleep before driving 9 hours. I know....protective. But, I get really anxious when kids are driving through the night. Hope the wedding goes off without a hitch. Enjoy the weekend everyone! Happy Birthday to Jagur!

A Much Needed Lake Day
Cynthia & the girls, Brandi & Nevelyn and I spent one day at the lake. I really needed it. Nothing is better to clear your mind than to have a lake day. We had a blast! The girls piled on my floatie and we rode the waves. Cynthia and I are making Chinese food tonight for all the family......should be fun and good!

Finally Friday!
Jord and I were determined to get home last night so I could actually cook dinner and sit down with the family. I had been craving homemade pot pie topped with biscuits. So.....that's what I whipped up along with fresh fried yellow squash and green salad with tomatoes from the garden. Major comfort food!!!! It felt so good to have a little down time. The kids are leaving tonight for Olympia. Sounds like they are going to have a car full---makes me want to tag along just to get out of town! Sis Cheryl Fitzgerald posted these pics of my parents on Facebook, so I snatched them up. Previous years at the campouts. They loved the campouts!!!
