Creston's IPad

Well, miracles do happen. Creston got his Ipad returned to him today after being stolen at the school. I won't name names of who it was that stole it, but I will be visiting with the boy's parents today. I think they should know as his mom is a teacher at Pateros. We are very happy that Creston got it back....he bought it with his own money...hopefully Creston learned a lesson about taking electronics to school.

Happy Birthday Jan

Thank you for all the hiking trips, vacation trips, mochas, homemade cinnamon rolls you given to our kids......but especially all the pictures you take. Your the best!!! Have a great day and drink an extra mocha...afterall its your Bithday!

Date Night

Jord and I actually are going out to dinner by ourselves!!! Thanks to Chad & Emma, we will enjoy the Twisp River Pub for dinner. This was in exchange for Jord designing Chad's logo for his business. So excited!!! I can't remember the last time we actually went out without the kids. We usually take them along. In the last two months, we have made plans twice to go to dinner and something came up and we couldn't go. So, I think I will swing by Hanks before coming home and see what he has on sale. The boys play a double header against Oroville tomorrow in Pateros. We beat them Tuesday 14-0, so we shouldn't have any problem beating them again. All of us have been fighting somekind of bug....headache, sore throat a little nausiated....but it hasn't got any of us done yet. We now have 4 baby goslings, which makes Jord a happy camper. Has anyone noticed the pretty tulips blooming in the downtown city mall? Thank you to my husband.....I love them!

Lovin' the Heat

One positive thing about this morning is I got to visit with Tamsin on the way to Okanogan and then I've been able to catch up with Lynn in little spurts each week as we sit and wait. Petra must have given Jord her headache.....actually he had it all weekend and it got worse last night after we got home. I'm definately having a hard time focusing on work today.....my mind seems to wander. We actually have a normal week this week. Kat/Creston both play in Oroville tomorrow (first time they have played in the same town on the same night), then we will go to Pizza Hut for Kat's birthday. Oh...did I mention I made 50 cupcakes for her birthday- enough to feed both girls and boys teams. I figured we don't have many nights at home so I may as well celebrate it on the ballfield. I heard on the news that gas prices have dropped 18 cents in the last week....apparantly the local gas stations didn't get that memo because their gas stayed the same. Go figure!

Communication Breakdown

My kids seem to think that I read minds or something. I didn't know about the Student Lead Conferences until yesterday and I heard about it through Kim Evans who heard from another parent. It would've looked pretty funny if Mom didn't show up and they had to present to an empty chair. I didn't know about early release until I had two kids show up hungry at city hall around lunchtime. They have moved the baseball/softball schedules around so much, I don't know if I'm coming or going. Apparently, the boys game with Brewster is moved to Friday.....Jord will go to that one and I will go to LR for Kat/Laura's game. Has anyone said lately how cute Nevelyn is???? She brings us all so much sunshine!!!! Love that little girl to pieces!

Pondering Life.....

Its hard to stay focused when there is so much going on around you. My heart goes out to our brethern who are going through trials. It was good to see so many turn out today. I love that Cynthia posted pics of the girls planting pots.....it reminds me of the pics a couple years ago when the girls helped Uncle Jord plant the garden. I am really looking forward to seeing Emma and the boys.....I told the boys we would have goslings, but so far nothing the geese are not cooperating! Jord and I go different directions tonight. He will be in Pateros for Kat's game and I will be in Brewster for the boy's game. I must admit I am a little jealous that Ma/Pa are going to the Tulip Festival. I haven't been in years.....we have pics of Creston/Kat when they were toddlers sitting in the tulip fields....

Spring Plants

I told Jord he needed to take greenhouse pic's of all his little plants that are coming up. We are way to busy this week. My house is falling down around me....it needs a serious cleaning, the laundry is piled....you have to be home to do it. I manage to load the dishwasher before heading to bed and that is about it. They rescheduled Kat's Okanogan game to Wednesday (which didn't please me), so we were in Okanogan last night and got home around 8:00. We won 9-4....exciting game to watch- we haven't beat Okanogan in 4 years. Tonight is our only night at home this week. Tomorrow is the boys game at LR, Saturday Kat's game in Pateros, Sunday church and then Manthy's shower. Jord informed me that he is missing the next two kids games or we won't have a garden.....he is falling behind. He did pull the last of potatoes/carrots out of the cellar. It has been great having the vegetables so long into the year. Maybe I will make homemade chicken pot pie tonight.

Lots of Pics

Kiera, Aubrea and Kaylee had a blast together blowing bubbles and playing. These pic's are a little of everything.

Back to the real world

My trip to Eugene was so enjoyable. I can't say how much I enjoyed seeing everyone. Big "Thank you" to Cynthia for turning her house over to us, it made it so easy and gave my family a place to congregate. I loved spending time with the little Wilson girls and visiting with all the family. It was nice to have Alan/Lenora/Kaylee come down. Kaylee has grown up and has quite the vocabulary....she going to be a smart one. Reece is a joy! Such a sweet, fun and mild tempered little guy.....he gave us plenty of laughs through out the weekend and the girls enjoyed having a baby in the house. My brother got a kick out of Aubrea and her comments....a couple of times he had to leave the room because she was getting in trouble and Richard was laughing at what she did. It was hard leaving Janice and Reece but they are planning on flying out for Thanksgiving at Aunt Kerri's, so I will wait for that day and hopefully we will have baby #2 to spoil. I will post pic's later....still sorting them.

Brrrr......

I have never been to a baseball game that was so cold!!!! We played at Waterville yesterday and the wind was howling, there was still snow all around the mountains. I felt sorry for the guys trying to play in this kind of weather. Rylan made an amazing catch, Creston/Rylan did awesome at pitching, good plays at homeplate. Great game...we won....we were frozen, but we won! Tag jumped into the car with Jord and I after I decided I didn't love my child enough to sit out in the freezing weather one minute longer. So we watched from the car. Rhiannon and Kim toughed it out and Kat jumped in the school bus to stay warm. It was funny, the school bus was full of people watching the game. I have to wash clothes and pack tonight for my adventure to Eugene. I am very excited, disappointed to miss my kids on Easter weekend, but excited to see Janice and Reece.
