Sunshine Today
We have clear blue skies this morning and so excited about it! Great weekend.....Saturday did absolutely nothing and it was wonderful. Sunday went to Brian/Michelle after church for dinner....it was yummy and very nice to be invited. Went to Ma/Pa's later for Jan's cinnamon rolls that Creston asked for after church. I know....my kids are feeling deprived of sugar so they ask their Aunt to take care of their sweet needs!!!! And no...I did not eat one! Very tempting, they looked and smelled wonderful. I looked at the baseball/softball scheduled and started putting dates on my calendar.....I about hyper ventilated.....we have 9 Saturdays in a row of ball. Breathe. The good news is....I will making a trip to Eugene Easter weekend. Janice called and she was asked to fly out to the wedding with a friend from OKC.....she jumped at it and figured I could get to Eugene to see her and Reece. So excited, I can't wait. I don't know exactly what days I will be down, but will probably make it a long weekend and the bad part is....none of my family will be coming with me because of ball and a city event that Jord has to help with. But...oh well....this girl is going to see her great nephew for the lst time!

Waiting for Spring!
Enjoyed the basketball season so much this year....watching the cousins all play together.....who would've thought? Although it didn't turn out like we wanted, both the teams did an amazing job. Now I want spring! I am looking foward to softball and baseball this year. These are my kids favorite sports and I love watching them! Pateros Pride was able to donate $750 dollars to each of the softball/baseball programs. So, I met with the coaches and got the equipment ordered that they wanted. I felt like Santa! It was a very awarding feeling to be able to help out. Jord and I purchased brand new batting helmets for both teams, so hopefully we will look so sharp that we intimidate the other teams! We had two really good meetings this week, I have enjoyed the visiting brothern. I appreciate those who make an effort to travel so far to try and help others. I am jealous of Emma's pictures of the beach......I really want to spend a long weekned on the coast.....but it will most likely be in August before we can go.

Want some Sunshine
I enjoyed church yesterday. Good preaching, singing and testimonies. I had moments of thoughts wandering.....times like these makes me miss my parents and the comfort they always gave me. Oh how I would love to have a long visit with the them. Cyntia called last night and we ended up visiting for a long time, then got to talk to two little sweeties! Made my night. Kiera sounds so grown up, telling me about Valentine's Day and how many valentines she will get at school. Thank you to Liz and Emma for the phone calls....it meant a lot. My foot is slightly better and I am so thankful. It does tell me when I have done to much, but I was able to cook dinner for my family this weekend. The only problem with that is that Creston thinks that I need to cook 24/7....you would think he was deprived. He packs away the food and his pants are still falling off! Looking forward to the District games this week....I hope our kids can pull it off.

Froggy Day
We are socked in this morning with Fog! Still plugging along, not living a real exciting life at the moment. We play B-port tonight for our last game before District. Jord has to go to Moses Lake the middle of next week for a training class, I'm hoping he won't miss any of the games, but we will see. It's day 37 of no sugar.....can't really believe I have went this long. Creston and Kat were feeling deprived of not having sugar in the house and begged us last night to let them make a late night McD run. Go for it, I said....just make sure you have it all eaten before you come home! Then this morning, we had to stop at the grocery store on the way to school so they could pick something up to eat before the game tonight and Creston hops in the car with a CHOCOLATE DONUT! What???? My eyes bugged out and he quickly turns his body away from me to eat his donut! Kids. Really would like to go to Oregon for a long weekend, but its not going to happen any time soon.
