Basketball is here!

The girls played on Saturday and it was a very enjoyable day. Kat's team slaughtered Manson and then beat ENTIAT!!!! Whoo Hoo! Love beating the Entiat girls....they have such attitude. Of course, us parents don't have any attitude.....Onto Waterville tonight and to Soap Lake on Thursday. It's amazing how much all the girls have improved in one year. I made my last batch of salsa last night (for my brother Jim). Couldn't stand to see any tomatoes/peppers go to waste. Jord is finishing up the tomatoes today canning spagetti sauce. I really enjoyed the garden this year, Jord is already shopping for seeds for next year. Crazy man.....he is talking about enlarging his garden space....I guess he wants to feed the whole church instead of 1/2the church. Creston has been scouting with Abe....they seen 2 does yesterday and are going back out tonight. That's all folks for the lifes of the Wilson's.

Tonight's the Night

Tonight's the night I actually get to be home before 9:00. All this week, its been late nights away from home for me.....my once clean house is a wreck! How does it get so dirty in 3 days? Jord cooked dinner last night for me. It was nice to run home eat in 15 minutes, out the door for church....back home by 9:45. Tired. Tomorrow I volunteered to help the Band with the before game BBQ, wish I hadn't done that, but if I wait for life to slow down....well that's a laugh. Kat and Irish have their first B-ball games this weekend. Creston is talking about hunting season and wondering who is going and where they are going. I remember those days.....it was a high rush opening day of hunting season. If I was in better shape, I would go out and hunt me a deer.....but as it is....the deer would hear me coming long before I seen them. Gotta love life.

Great Weekend

We had a really good meeting Sunday and a great day filled with brethern and family. We had Dad/Mom Wilson, Abe, Bro Phil/Sis Betty, Bro John Kesti/girls and Bro Neal over for dinner after church. It was such an enjoyable day with lots of food and good visiting. It felt so good to have a house and to feed the brethern at my table. Although after yesterday, I told Jord we need a bigger table. We were elbow to elbow with just the adults and had to use side tables to some of the food. But, it was nice and so glad I did it. I should've sent some pie home with everyone......I had 1/2 apple, lemon and coconut pies left and I don't need to be snacking on pie the next two days. Oh!!! I forgot about Saturday....we finally got our bedroom finished. Jord sorted all the clothes that needed to go to the trash/yardsale, hung pictures on our walls, I hung clothes up and dusted and what do you know????? The bed actually had the bedspread on it for the first time since we moved in. I managed to organize Creston's closet and sorted his clothes. The house felt so much better afterwards. Nothing like a good fall cleaning to make things more functionable. Anyone coming for hunting season???? Chad????

Dalhia Show Pictures

Kerri's back was out, so it was a quick stop and walk-through, while she rested. I remember why I love dahlias in my garden.

Home Again

10 hours of pain later......we were finally home. Monday night was a bad night but today is a better day. I was able to sleep for 1 1/2 hours in my bed.....first time laying flat since Friday. No muscle spasms today and really enjoying not clenching my teeth. We had such a good time visiting with everyone....wish I could've felt better, but oh well....I still had a great time. Thanks to Cynthia for the bed, recliner, floorspace and all the food, we already miss everyone. We did get some awesome deals on clothes and shoes and I believe everyone was happy except me....I didn't get time to go to the quilt store to look for fabric to finish Kat's quilt. Oh well, I will have to search closer to home. The kids were complaining about no food in the house....I haven't had time to go grocery shopping and I really don't feel like going, so we are scrugging the cupboards until Saturday. This weekend is the Fair and not sure what day we will go up....if we go up. It's not as exciting as it used to be when we were in highschool and had our critters to show. We will take a family vote and see who wins. It's the cost that really kills me, that and I was unhappy with the Fair last year. I just re-read my posting and I sound like a cranky old women......best go for now.
