Hello

Well, went to the kids concert last night and I was so impressed! Everyone was so good, especially the Junior High and Highschool bands. Mr McBride out did himself this year with the kids, of course I have nothing to compare it to since this was our first year. Anyway, Jord and I enjoyed ourselves and the kids seem to be excited about what they were playing. I have been trying to make a trip to Wenatchee for two weeks now and still haven't been able to find the time to go. Kat has money from her birthday that she's been wanting to spend and I can't seem to get her there. I thought, well, we could go Friday night. NOPE!!! Baseball in Chelan. Saturday, carwash and yardsale. Sunday, church. Creston needs a haircut so bad, he looks like a hippee! Can't get him to Walmart in Chelan to get it done. Urghhh. Oh...and I've been promising my little nephew that I would make it to one of his games....I don't know if I will make it or not Tag. Breathe......hope everyone has a good day.

Softball

Lastnight we went to Omak for a double header for Kat. She pitched 3 innings in the 1st game and we were up 13-1 so they put in the sub to give her a break. She then pitched the last 3 innings of the second game and we won that one also 13-1. Good games and lots of fun. Grandpa was there taking pictures, so I'm going to have to snag them as we seem to forget the camera at almost every important event!! Baseball for Creston tonight in Brewster....I think this weekend is actually free. I may be able to finish unpacking my bedroom, its the only room that isn't totally done in the house and I'm a little tired of stumbling over stuff trying to get to the bathroom at 3:00am. We finally have sunshine and a little heat this week but not warm enough for tanktops yet.....I wouldn't be able to find them anyway...I think they are still packed on the front porch....oh well.

Blue Eyes

Woke up this morning to a very sweet little girl with Big Blue eyes running around my house. Alan/Lenora/Kaylee and Janice made it in last night around 11:00. Jord, the kids and I all crashed at 10:00, we all have been on the go and were very exhausted. So, I put a note on the front door telling everyone where their beds were and that I would see them in the morning. I know....not very welcoming...but when it comes to me getting sleep.....I just couldn't stay up. Fixed everyone breakfast before heading off to Pateros to drop the kids at school. It is nice to have family in my home and to see Janice again. Fried Chicken tonight!!!! Crazy, but I'm excited about being home to eat....we've been gone to ball games most of the week. Jord has been a grumbling bear about not being able to sit at his table for dinner, I told him that the sports season is almost over and then I remembered.....Babe Ruth for the summer....Ha! Oh well....the kids only live this part of their life once and they definately grow up way too fast.
