Busy Weekend

Friday night we went to dinner at Bro. Terry & Sis. Cheryl Henderson's. After dinner we walked across the street for a Softball meeting for Katarina. Saturday, we were up and going....cleaning the house, making pies, grocery shopping....I had Jacob, Jai, Elizabeth and all the kids over for Taco's. Sunday, we went to church and then to another Softball meeting for Kat. We are trying to decide whether to take the girls and do a tournament team or keep them in the league they've played in the last 6 years. The league has had some issues and the girls are really good...so we will see. Creston started Baseball last week, so we are busy as usual. Anyone hear about the Hamburger meat recall???? Not good especially when I fed 11 people Taco's for dinner on Saturday!! So far....none of us are dead. Good luck to Josh on the way home-we will definately miss your blogging. Still trying to convince Jord that we need to come out for 10 days this summer and then come back for Christmas.....he's still debating about these melons!!!!

Gone to Texas

Well, we loaded up the kids and left early Saturday morning and headed for Allen Texas...home of the Premium Allen Outlets, just north of Dallas. (Great place, different stores) Jord took the scenic route down and we arrived around 11:00 am, ready for shopping. I took the kids and away we went. We shopped until they were wore out (I was not the one who complained the first....although I was beat!) We made the big loop and headed back to the car to find Jord taking a nap! Evidently his shopping didn't take as long. We all found great deals and everyone seemed pleased, but we were ready to crash at the hotel. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn which had a indoor pool and hot tub....the kids and I swam and Jord crawled into the hot tub....both felt great. We crawled out of bed the next day and did more shopping all the way home to Oklahoma. It was a much needed break for all of us, we haven't been anywhere over night since last summer's trip to Washington. The weather out here is crazy as usual....one day its 75 and the next its 30. It would be nice if it was a little consistent.....you never know what your going to get. Miss everyone....we haven't decided if we are coming this summer. Jord really wants to come for Christmas. He also wants to grow melons this summer.....he's missed out the last 3 summers on his garden. I'm hoping we come out for 10 days in the summer and then come back for Christmas!! Ha! What are the chances of that?
